I have personally searched worldwide for another copy & I can not find another, so this could well be a rare book. The following shows what items can be made from this lovely historical fashion book.

Page 2 Lace Edging and Medallion Insertion :- how to make this for tablecloths and other projects.

Page 3 Crotchet Posies :- These dainty accessories are very easily made, when completed, the crotchet is dipped into boiled starch, pulled into shape with the fingers, then left in the sun to dry.

Page 4 Hand - made gloves:-
Handmade gloves, both long & short, coloured & white, will be the keynote of smartness this summer, so we give you the directions for two pleasing styles.

Page 6 Lace Collar and Jabot :- Add a touch of charm to your frock with this crisp frilly collar of simple crotchet. You can make it in either white or ecru and the crispness is given to the collar when finished by dipping it into a bath of gelatine (1 level dessertspoonful to 1 pint of water, add a dash of lemon juice as a bleach if the collar is white).

Page 7 Snowdrop Edge :- For all small linens, Traycloths, Centres, etc. This pretty three piece set illustrated is shaped to show method of turning corners.

Page 8 Single Petal Edge :- For Sandwich, Doyleys, Centres, etc. This is a quickly worked edge, comprising four rows of crotchet.

Page 9 Water Lily Edge :- For Supper Cloths, Doyleys, Etc. This is a chain loop and treble edge, comprising six rows of crotchet, and is suitable for all household linens.

Page 9 Filet Point and Picot Fan Edge:-
For Supper Cloths, Bread Doyleys, etc. This simple edge measures 1 1/2 ins. in depth and comprises six rows crotchet, which includes a first foundation row of close double crotchet. This lace is suitable for all large linens. The bread doyley illustrated gives the efffect of a scalloped edge.

Page 10 Two - tone Edgings for aprons or coloured Fancywork:-

Page 10 Square Mat with Organdie Center:-
Cut away surplas organdie at base 1/2 in, in from edge of center, draw a square.... Make a thin starch & dip lace. Stretch into shape & leave to dry.

Page 10 Crotchet Fringe & Flower for Cushions, etc.:-
This handsome fringe can be cheaply made with thick silk or wool.

Page 12 Gay Cushions for Verandah:-
Crash or burlap make very charming cushions for the sun verandah when worked in very bright colours.

Page 13 Two simple Fringes, suitable for cushions, Chair Scarf, Runners, etc. & how to make tassels.

Page 13 Embroidery Stitches:-
